Many children have good memories for events, which may have happened, or people they met along time a go but may have difficulties in remembering the details of what they have heard or seen moments before.

Why Narrative skills? As Speech Pathologists we are interested in all skills related to communication! Stories include the ability to use and understand language.

Social communication skills include initiating and maintaining conversations, requesting and providing information. We make judgements about what different people are thinking and feeling and modifying communication for different people and places.

When should my child say the sounds?! Children are not expected to master all phonemes (or sounds) as soon as they begin talking. All children have some errors as their speech develops.

Our aim is to provide functional goals, this means for Little Ones through to Young People.
