Meet & Greet with our team – skills for literacy

Back to school kindergarten groups running term 1 – book in for our free parent info afternoon

As speech pathologists and occupational therapists working in the field of literacy, we are passionate about seeing kids begin school with the right skills and development to help success in the classroom.

We are hosting a parent afternoon drop in at the clinic on FRIDAYs for February!

2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd February 1:30-3:00pm. ** note our OT will only be available to chat on the 2nd and 23rd.

You can book in a time slot to come in and speak about our literacy groups starting term 1. During the afternoon we will have activities set up to show you what it involves and why we want to target these skills.

Our occupational therapist will talk about skills for:

  • pencil grip
  • letter formation
  • posture
  • independence for school

Our speech pathologist team will discuss skills and activities in:

  • letter names + sounds
  • awareness for reading and writing
  • pre literacy skills
  • sight words
  • listening + learning

This is a great opportunity to ask questions, seek some advise and learn about our term 1 Literacy Groups starting from now! .

Book in a time slot that suits between 1:30-3:00pm to chat. These are group options as we will have activities set up and opportunity to speak to us during that time.

If this doesn’t suit to come in and meet us, feel free to give us a call to make a seperate chat.
